During the course of a day, students have many different subjects. Because of this, students are required to bring assignment notebooks with them to all classes at all times.

This year the school is providing one assignment notebook for every student. There is adequate space for the students to keep track of daily and long term assignments. We require parents to sign the notebook each evening. This is a way for the teachers, students, and parents to communicate on a daily basis.
Your interest and support in the use of a daily assignment notebook will help your child become more organized and prepared for each class.

In Sixth grade we communicate with home on a weekly basis through the use of our Weekly Updates. Every Friday your child will bring home a Weekly Update filled out by his or her teachers. If your child has any late or incomplete work, it will be indicated in the appropriate section. Incomplete work will need to be completed and turned in on the following Monday.

The behavior update is something new we added this year. We feel it is important to let you know how your child is behaving throughout the week in our classrooms. We have found this system to be most successful when a parent/guardian consistently asks to see this Update.
